This Morning, 6-12-12

What a fun show today smiley.  You for sure can tell when we both are feeling good in the morning, things get a little nutty!  We talked about a lot of things.  Had Jim Freed on the air talking about what you should look at if you have a lot of trees in your yard.  We will for sure have him back again.  Lou brought up some memories of the past, the 2005 Super Bowl.  Yup, the one with the Seahawks and the Steelers……We love hearing from the listeners and if you have a comment to add to the conversation please call us, 360-462-1041!

Some of the other stories we covered…
The Dingo Ate The Baby…….Really.

It is Jim Neighbors birthday…he sings well.

And the rumors of the songwriter for “The Rainbow Connection” untimely death are greatly exaggerated.

‘Paul Williams Still Alive’ Out In Select Theaters
Did you think songwriter Paul Williams was dead? So did the guy who ended up making a documentary about him. Williams wrote songs like “Evergreen,” “Rainbow Connection,” “Old Fashioned Love Song” and “We’ve Only Just Begun.” He used to show up on talk shows and variety shows in the ‘70s and ‘80s, but admits he got caught up in the fame game, along with drugs and alcohol. Williams says he was often drunk or high while appearing on those shows. Williams cleaned himself up and has been sober for 22 years. The documentary, “Paul Williams Still Alive,” chronicles his downfall and return. It’s out in limited release now.

And a version of the song….
