VH1's "Hit the Floor" Goes Inside the Scandalous World of Professional Basketball

Piotr Sikora/VH1(NEW YORK) -- Hit the Floor is VH1's new sexy and scandalous drama centered on the Los Angeles Devil Girls, a fictional professional basketball dance team, and what goes on inside the big arena.

And a lot goes on as the team captain deals with a new crop of girls coming to steal the spotlight, while veteran dancers deal with the consequences of fraternizing with the players, a big no no for dancers that seems all too common with the Devils.

Dean Cain stars as Coach Pete Davenport, a former All-Star who comes back to coach the team.

Cain says the show portrays some things that really happen in the world of professional sports.

"Obviously we over-dramatize some of things in the show, but a lot of the things that we do, you'd say, 'Oh! That's over-dramatized! And the reality is some of it's under dramatized to what really happens," he tells ABC News Radio. "There's just some crazy stuff [that happens] with that kind of money, that kind of wealth and that kind of fame."

"It's professional basketball where there is a lot of money, a lot of scandal, a lot of gorgeous young people and all the stuff that surrounds that," Cain adds.

Taylour Paige plays Ahsha, a naive young dancer who auditions and joins the team against her mother Sloane's wishes. Paige, who danced with the Los Angeles Laker Girls for three months, says Hit the Floor is a much more salacious version of life than when she danced professionally.

"It's a fictional show and it's obviously a lot more dramatic onscreen than off," the 23-year-old tells ABC News Radio. "A lot of the things that happen in the show, I don't think would be tolerated."

Kimberly Elise plays Paige's mother, a former professional dancer who could write the book on what not to do in that world. The Diary of a Mad Black Woman actress says she's happy to finally show a lighter side of herself onscreen.

"I've done a lot of you know super heavy things," Elise, 46, explains. "I wanted to do something that was different, sort of go back to my roots of doing some funny things, some sexy things and some dramatic things."

Cain says viewers can expect billionaire Mark Cuban, who owns the Dallas Mavericks and stars on ABC's Shark Tank, to make an appearance on the Hit the Floor, along with rapper Akon, model Eva Marcille and Grammy award-nominated singer Kevin McCall.

The season premiere of Hit the Floor airs Monday, May 27 at 9 p.m. Eastern time on VH1.

Jennifer Aniston Strips Down for "Millers"

Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images for Living Proof(NEW YORK) -- For years, Jennifer Aniston has been known for her fit physique and, now, she’s showing it off in a big way.

In her new movie, We’re the Millers, Aniston, 44, plays an exotic dancer alongside Jason Sudeikis, who stars as a drug dealer. In the trailer, the former Friends star shows off her moves, and strips down to her skivvies.

In an interview with InStyle UK last year, Aniston said that she stays in such great shape by working out five or six days each week, and avoiding junk food. But in spite of her killer body and great looks, the actress realizes that she’s getting older.

“You know what makes me feel old? When I see girls who are twenty-something, or the new crop of actresses and think, ‘Aren’t we kind of the same age?’ You lose perspective. Or being offered the part of a woman with a 17-year-old child. It’s like, ‘I’m not old enough to have a 17-year-old,’” she said.

In this movie, which will be released the summer, she plays the mother of Emma Roberts, 22, and Will Poulter, 20.
