The sport clam fishing season ( all clam species) at Dosewallips State Park will open on April 1, 2013  and last through Aug. 15, 2013.   Recreational effort increased significantly in 2012, and the state clam share was overharvested, requiring WDFW to shorten the season by 3 ½ months in 2013. Oysters remain open year-round on this beach.
