Habitat For Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is preparing to build its first house in Belfair. They’re looking for a qualified Mason County family that is willing to participate in the construction and make their dream of home

ownership a reality. They’re planning a 2 to 3 bedroom home on donated land. According to Habitat for Humanity, families who are interested in owning a Habitat home must be low-income. They also must have a need for housing, be able to make a 0% interest mortgage payment, make between 30%-60% of Mason County’s medium income, be a resident of Mason County and be willing to contribute 400 hours into helping build their new home.
If you are looking to apply to become a Habitat homeowner, you need to call the Habitat office in Shelton at (360) 426-8134. Please apply by April 30th.
HFHMC is currently building House #22 in the Timberlakes Community in Shelton.  Completion will be April 2013.
