2012 Fantasy Forest Tickets On Sale
Tickets for Mason General Hospital Foundation’s 2012 Fantasy Forest Event are on sale now through Friday November 9th. This year’s theme is “Remember into the Future”
and takes a trip through the past and into the future of Mason General Hospital & Family of Clinics, in a wonderland of fun, festivities, and beautifully-decorated trees. It’s taking place November 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 at the Pavilion at Sentry Park, Shelton. Tuesday, November 13 opens the event with 'A Sneak Peek', running from 4 to 8pm, and is free and open to everyone.Schedule of Events:
Tuesday, November 13: A Sneak Peek
Showcasingbeautifully- decorated trees that create the magical atmosphere of Fantasy Forest. Included is the Foundation’s Gift Shop ‒ that will be stuffed with special gift ideas. The event runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is open to everyone, free of charge.
Wednesday, November 14: Fashion Show & Luncheon
Feature exciting fashions by Christopher & Banks and a gourmet lunch from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. However, this event is sold out and is sponsored by Fred Finn/Finninsula Foundation. Tickets were $40 per person, with reservations required.
Wednesday evening presents:
“A Toast to Fantasy Forest and All of Our Community Supporters” with A Wine Tasting Event from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sponsored by Dynamic Collectors, Inc., this event is a showcase of Washington wineries with cheeses, fruits, and chocolate pairings. Tickets are $25 per person and reservations are required - adult only.
Thursday, November 15:
Free Community Open House that is free and open to everyone. Visit the Gift Shop and view the beautifully-decorated trees from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In the afternoon from 2 to 4 p.m. is Senior Day Tea, sponsored by Alpine Way Retirement Apartments. This free event features music, entertainment, raffles for door prizes, cookies, tea and coffee.
Thursday evening:
Father-Daughter Night Outfrom 6 to 9 p.m., and includes a buffet dinner, dancing, and a silent auction. The event is co-sponsored by EI. Kristyn & Son Construction, and tickets are $30 per person, with reservations required.
Friday, November 16
Alderbrook Resort & Spa brings their culinary expertise to the table for the Mason County Professionals Luncheon & Confections Auction. Doors and Gift Shop open at 11 a.m., and plated lunch begins at noon, courtesy of Executive Chef Lucas Sautter and staff. Tickets are $25 per person and reservations are required.
Friday evening from 7 to 11 p.m.:
Battle of the Bands, a night of live entertainment featuring cross-generation musical selections, appetizers, and a no-host “cash only” bar. Tickets are $25 per person and reservations are required - adult only.
Saturday, November 17
Children’s Candy Cane Carnival, co-sponsored by South Sound Radiology. Children’s activities, refreshments, and a visit from Santa take place from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tickets are $10 for one adult and one child; and $4 for each additional guest, with children under two admitted free. Reservations are required.
Saturday evening
The conclusion of the week of festivities with the Gala & Auction, featuring gourmet dining and a live auction of the beautiful designer trees. The no-host bar is “cash only” and black tie is optional. Co-sponsored by Hiawatha Corporation and Hoffman Construction Company, the event is from 6 to 10 p.m., and reservations are required. Sapphire tickets are $120 per person and include an appreciation gift for each guest; Emerald tickets are $150 per person and include a limited-edition ornament for each guest, preferred seating, and personal wait staff.
