Police say there have been a rash of car thefts, and several cars reported stolen from Olympia all involved cars that were reportedly left unlocked Thurston County law enforcement agencies are investigating reports that at least nine vehicles were stolen in a 24-hour period starting early Monday morning — four in Olympia, three in unincorporated Thurston County and two in Lacey. And apparently the car capers have a preference, with seven of the stolen vehicles having been Hondas, police said. Thurston County Sheriff’s officers said that detectives are investigating whether the incidents might be related.
