The Asset Building Coalition and United Way of Mason County are sponsoring free financial education classes on February 4^th, 11^th, 25^th and March 4^th. The purpose of these classes is to provide financial hope, opportunity, and choice to low-income individuals and families through fun, interactive classes in a friendly environment. 
Classes will be held at William G. Reed Public Library at 710 W. Alder St, Shelton WA 98584. These classes are scheduled to be held from 5:30 to 7:00. Childcare will be provided. Upon completion of all four classes, each participant will have the opportunity to receive a $25 beginning balance in a savings account at Our Community Credit Union. 
The classes will cover identity theft, budgeting, practical shopping tips, banking and credit.
