Energy Workshop at Shelton Library Feb. 13

This is the time of year you may find yourself having to choose between high energy bills or being uncomfortable in your home. If you are always cold or your nose seems never to stop running, you should attend the Home Efficiency Action Training (HEAT) workshop. This event is free and open to public. It will be held Wednesday, February 13 at the Shelton Timberland Library from 5 - 7 p.m.

HEAT was organized to make learning about home efficiency upgrades and rebates easier for the homeowner. Representatives from Northwest Infrared, Northwest Energy Team, South Sound Solar and others will be speaking. Topics include PUD utility rebates, home energy audits, insulation and air sealing, proper ventilation, ductless heat pumps, solar power, low interest loans for home efficiency upgrades, and more.
